Michael Kennedy, Ph.D.
Chief Executive Officer / President
Michael Kennedy received a Ph.D. and M.A. in Anthropology from the University of California, Davis, and a B.S. in Business Administration (Marketing) and Anthropology from the State University of New York at Albany. Dr. Kennedy has served as a National Science Foundation Post Doctoral Scholar, Division of Behavioral, Cognitive and Economic Sciences, and has conducted research with the United States Department of Energy. His main focus lies in identifying and analyzing behavioral patterns using theories of social science, such as anthropology, sociology, behavioral ecology and economics. He is adept at quantitative analyses, modeling, statistical techniques and interpreting results for implementation in business contexts. Dr. Kennedy has a vast amount of business, research, and teaching experience which has given him a comprehensive understanding of human decision-making processes. He has conducted behavioral research and worked for client’s in a wide array of markets and industries, including finance, health care, consumer goods, education, non-profit charities, pharmaceuticals and politics, to name a few. For fun, Dr. Kennedy enjoys spending time with his family, camping and rooting for the New York Metropolitans. Brian Paciotti, Ph.D.
Chief Research Officer
Brian Paciotti received an interdisciplinary Ph.D. in Human Ecology from the University of California, Davis. He earned his B.S. with a double major in Natural Resources Management and Anthropology from Colorado State University. Drawing on all areas of social science, his teaching, research, and applied work have focused on the broad areas of organizational behavior and decision-making processes. He has published scientific studies about the effectiveness of various organizational and management processes, and how cultural factors influence the outcomes of these practices. Dr. Paciotti has conducted many types of studies, such as human experiments and ethnography, and is skilled at turning datasets into meaningful results using complex statistical models. In his applied career as a researcher for state-level health and criminal systems, Dr. Paciotti has conducted extensive studies in the area of organizational behavior. Here he has developed a solid foundation of “evidence-based” advice about how to manage and organize people within groups. These studies have also provided him with a firm understanding of the core motivations of people. Senior Vice President
Amy Rosen received a Doctoral degree in psychology from Yeshiva University, a Master of Education degree from Harvard University, and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester. Dr. Rosen's training, clinical and research experiences include assessesing cognitive, personality and motivational functioning. She has extensive training in the measurement of psychological processes using standardized evaluation tools. Her research experience has included assessing the effectiveness of intervention models to change behaviors. Dr. Rosen has worked with populations in both healthcare and academic settings at such institutions as Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and the University of California San Francisco in San Francisco. Dr. Rosen has co-authored scientific publications in peer-reviewed health and medical journals. On off days, she loves spending time with her children and husband, as well as cooking and swimming.
